    Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by visiting our online store, TOPShop, at back to top
  2. Should I bring anything with me?
    In order to enter the event, all guests are asked to present a current valid ID to verify age. This is required by state law. All guests under the age of 21 will be permitted with an identifying wristband. No outside food or beverage is permitted into Taste of Parkersburg. Don't worry – we'll have plenty for you to eat and drink! back to top
  3. Are there discounts for groups of 10 or more?
    There are discounts available for large groups attending the Taste of Parkersburg. Please inquire by calling Michelle Young, Sales Assistant, The Blennerhassett Hotel, 304.865.8656. back to top
  4. What do I get for my $10 entry fee?
    Your entry ticket will gain access to the Taste of Parkersburg event including entertainment all evening. Additional Vendor Coupons must be purchased to exchange for tasting of food, wine and beer. Cash is accepted by all specialty foods vendors and artisans. Vendor Coupons are available in sheets of 10 for $10. Tickets and Vendor Coupons are valid only for the current year's event and may not be used at future events. back to top

    There are many options for downtown parking. Downtown street parking is free on weekends. Additional parking is available adjacent to the event in the parking garage accessible from Juliana Street (fee applies). back to top

  9. Can I use cash to purchase food, wine and beer for tasting?
    No. All food, wine and beer vendors will accept Vendor Coupons only. No cash is permitted. Artisans and Specialty Food vendors may accept cash, as well as all retail and concession tents. back to top

    If you'd like to support Taste of Parkersburg by participating as an INDIVIDUAL volunteer, please fill out our online application and we'll contact you. If your GROUP would like to participate, please contact us and we'll get back to you with the appropriate information.

  12. Where does the money from Taste of Parkersburg go?
    Taste of Parkersburg is a non-profit event. All proceeds are used to cover the cost of the event. Costs include such things as setup and related rentals, collateral materials, advertising and related support supplies. Any remaining funds will be used to improve future Taste of Parkersburg events. back to top
  13. Who runs Taste of Parkersburg?
    The Taste of Parkersburg is coordinated by the Downtown Development Task Force whose membership includes downtown businesses, the Wood County Commission, the Wood County Development Authority and the City of Parkersburg.  A steering committee has been formed to coordinate the countless local volunteers.  The members of the committee come from all areas of the community – The Blennerhassett Hotel, the City of Parkersburg, the Smoot Theater, Parkersburg Actors Guild, the City of Parkersburg, area businesses and other service organizations. back to top
